BIOL 1409Ω - Biology II for Non-Science Majors Credits: 4 This lecture and lab course is a presentation of introductory biological concepts for the non-science major. Topics will include current issues in biology that focus on evolution, ecology, plant and animal diversity, and physiology. All topics will address the past and present work of scientists and their contributions to the science field, and the relevance of scientific problem solving to current issues and problems in modern society. THIS COURSE IS NOT INTENDED FOR SCIENCE MAJORS. Lecture Hrs.= 3, Lab Hrs. = 3 Prerequisite: BIOL 1408 or BIOL 1406 (C or better, or instructor permission) Pre/Corequisite: ENRD 401 or equivalent and MATH 100 or equivalent
