ITDF 1400 - Introduction to Digital Forensics Credits: 4 A study of the application of forensic science and technology to collect, analyze, document, and present after-the-fact digital information from digital sources while maintaining a documented chain of custody to determine exactly what happened on a digital device. Overview of ethics, white collar crime, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, and other legal guidelines/regulations/laws. Includes overview of tools used for forensic analysis of digital services seized in investigations.
